Digitization of sources from South Asia

Printed and handwritten sources from and about South Asia are being digitised by Tuebingen University Library under the name „Digital South Asia“.

The work commenced with the series Epigraphia Carnatica, a series of 18 volumes containing more than 9,000 inscriptions. Please read the article by Bignami / Mucciarelli about the significance of this series.

The digitisation of the library’s collection of Indian manuscripts is being planned.
